8 mile Clearwater Sand Key
Gorgeous oceanfront run along the Clearwater Causeway Bridge to Clearwater Beach to Sand Key Park. Meet at the fountain in the center of the Allens Creek Shopping Center (on the corner of Pierce St. and S Osceola Ave.). No shade so bring water and sunscreen.
10 Mile Safety Harbor Loop
Meet at the Safety Harbor Marina by the bathrooms. We’ll head north up Bayshore Dr. to Philippe Point, through some neighborhoods, then down McMullen Booth Dr. and around Kapok Park. Nice long scenic loop.
A little over 8 mile run through Davies sidewalks. Sights include ranches, Blanchard Park, downtown Davie, and Universities. Meet on the corner of S University Dr. and Nova Dr. in front of the 7-11.
Fort Lauderdale Beach Run
5.25 out and back along the beach and up to Sunrise Bay. Meet on the paved path where Beach Blvd. crosses with Poinsettia St. (across the street from The Drunken Taco.). We’ll start with some stretching and and warmups before the run.
Downtown River Bridges
Easy 4 mile run along the waterfront, across the Acosta Bridge to Friendship Park, and across the Main St. Bridge. Meet at the pavilion on the waterfront, where Hogan street ends.
Jacksonville Beach Run
A little over 5 mile out and back on 1st St. along the Jacksonville Beach. Meet in the parking lot of the shopping center on 3rd St. (in front of the Panera 2104 3rd St S).
Miami Kennedy Park — Cocoplum
6 mile out and back run with excellent trail, lots of people running, biking, skating, etc. and great for people watching. Meet at the Phoenix Beach volleyball courts (2400 S Bayshore Dr.).
Miami Half Marathon — Key Biscayne
Long out and back from the causeway to Key Biscayne. Some scenic jaunts into Virginia Key and Crandon Park. Park on the Causeway and meet in front of Sailboards Miami (1 Rickenbacker Causeway).
Orlando Lake Baldwin 4-Miler
A large loop around Lake Baldwin and Lake Susannah. Some running on roads but mostly bike paths around the lakes. Meet at Harbor Park where the small pier juts out into the water (with a gazebo).
Orlando Lake Tour
6 mile run around town passing by Eola, Lawsona, Davis, Cherokee, & Lucerne. Meet at the small pond in the Lake Eola Park (east end of the pond) on the corner of E Robinson and N Eola
Hal Scott Half Marathon — East Orlando
All flat, dirt roads and some single trail, no roots! Little shade so make sure to bring plenty of water. From Dallas Blvd., turn left at the end of the ramp, and drive 2.4 miles to the park entrance, on the left.
South Sarasota Beach Run
Running on the beach is twice as hard as running on pavement, great conditioning for your muscles and cardiovascular system! Out and back through Siesta Beach. Park and meet at Public Beach Access 5 (222 Beach Rd. where it meets Ocean Rd.).
Downtown Sarasota to North Bridge
A little under 6 mile loop through town- south on Orange to Siesta drive with a halfway point at North Bridge Overlook parking lot for 5-10 minutes of strength training. Back via Osprey. Meet at the corner of Osprey Ave and Ringling Blvd. (in front of Centennial Bank- 126 S Osprey Ave.)
Marina Jack to South Lido Park
Scenic run across Sarasota Bay, through St. Armands Circle (outdoor shopping) and along beaches. Meet at the roundabout at Marina Jack parking lot (near JD Hamel Park (S Gulfstream Ave.).
Flatwoods Park Trail Out and Back (North Tampa)
Scenic trail run through the Lower Hillsborough Wilderness Preserve. Park and meet at the Flatwoods Park - Bruce B Downs Entrance (18205 Bruce B Downs Blvd.).
Tampa Bayshore 10 Miler
This run goes all along the Bayshore Fitness Trail by the water. Lots of water fountains along the way. Plan on making a few stops at the fitness stations. Park in the UT Poe Parkway parking lot and meet at the south end (closest to Kennedy Blvd.)
