This is a flat, neighborhood run in Livermore. It is a single loop that is exactly 2.0 miles. For this run you will mostly be on sidewalk or possibly pavement depending on how busy the road is. This is a great loop to start on even if you can not run the whole thing I want you out there. The plan is run around 10 - 10:30 per mile pace. We will meet up at Rancho Las Positas Elementary School (401 E Jack London Blvd, Livermore, CA 94551), this is also where we will finish. We will complete the workout with a 5-10 minute stretching routine. This run can easily be made into a four mile run by doing the loop twice.

This run is a fully paved run on both road and bike trail. We will begin at the Del Valle Arroyo Rd Staging Area Parking Lot. The run will go along Arroyo Rd (heading north) and will turn left off this road onto a bike trail just past the Wente Restaurant. Following this trail we will turn left onto Arroyo Del Valle Regional Trail (bike path) at the walking bridge. Once on the Arroyo Del Valle Regional Trail we will follow it into Sycamore Grove Park until we get to Kingfisher crossing. We then go about 50 meters past this crossing to reach 2 miles. At this point we will turn around and go back to where we began following the same directions backwards. We will run this at a pace of 9:30 to 11:00 minute mile depending on your ability and running experience. Pace is always flexible and it is always okay to take walking breaks. This run does not have a lot of shade so wear a hat or sunglasses if it happens to be a sunny morning.
