If you plan on or want to run a 5km event one day, this run is perfect for practice! Come join me for a run around the VA hospital. We will start with a short dynamic warm-up, discuss technique & running goals, and begin with a half - mile warm - up jog before hitting the Woodley hill! Following the hill we work on breathing techniques during the downhill and finish up the last half-mile of the run. Afterward, we will do some static stretches and i'll answer any running/fitness/health related questions you have! I want to help you achieve your goals and improve your lifestyle.

Ever thought of joining a 5 km event or wanted to become a better run? Come join me and I'll coach you on running technique, warm - up, stretches, proper breathing, and motivate you to the finish. The run starts on the corner of Haskell and Plummer (on the VA hospital side). We begin with a short dynamic warm - up and then begin with a light half - mile jog while I assess and give you feedback on proper technique. Then we will push through the Woodley hill and afterward, I'll coach you on breathing techniques. Lastly, we'll finish the last stretch strong to the finish and end with some static stretches. You'll be educated on what to do before, during, and after your runs while being motivated too!

If you have experienced a 5 km and want to take your running to the next level to a 10 km or more, this run is for you. The run is mostly flat but long enough to build on endurance and technique. We will begin each run with a dynamic warm - up, gradually build up our pace, work on running & breathing technique, and end with static stretching. The run starts on Haskell & Plummer and ends on Haskell & Lassen. Please plan parking accordingly. Looking forward to meeting you and helping you reach your goals!
